It was/is based on more than hair color. My hair is about the same color as it was back then. I've always colored my hair to add brightness & a bit more red to my auburn hair.

But I really think the seasons color charts were not all that accurate or important. Do most people really need help learning what colors look best on them? I certainly never have.

@willdob3   Yay!!! My point exactly...Thank you. Sometimes we are all influenced by a book or "concept" that doesn't hold true for everyone. No reason to stick to hard & fast rules if they just don't work for you.
