That flowered gown fabric looks as though it ought to be on a sofa.  Very ordinary, rather matronly collection but I'm relieved to see she has her own road-kill vest.

I noticed that one too. That was called her "shirtwaist dress"

Maybe the only one I liked. I'm not sure how that would look on me.I have hardly any waist, more like straight up and down.

The other day I was watching Flipper (as noted by Oznell

and the mother had on the nicest shirtwaist dress. I thought she must have ironed it to perfection!

Of course that's what lots of women wore back then. My mother had one too and I always liked it on her. When I see them I do think of mothers.(and I mean that in a nice way).

This makes more sense to me that Brooke Shields would have a fashion line than Martha Stewart. JMO 

i am glad to see a new brand whether it’s fashion, beauty, etc.

Home shopping channels have become the old burial ground for has been or never was “celebrities.”

It seems anyone can “design.”

This is an insult to real designers,  Louis D, Bob Mackie

George Simonton, Lori Goldstein, Susan Graver.....

It is rare when a “celebrity/star” has a real talent- Catherine Zeta-Jones is one, Joan Rivers was another.

Personally, seeing a “name” puts me on notice re higher prices, often poorer products.

"What we love about working with Brooke is her dedication to helping women live better lives, which is something we are passionate about as well," he said. "Brooke's line is sophisticated but approachable and is ideal for busy women who crave fashion that is not only chic and effortless, but a perfect mix of modern and timeless." Initial items will launch on the network on 15 February, with the full collection released on 14 March.
