Would today's Breezies TSV act as a modesty item instead of a half slip. What other reason would you get them?

@lavendar I'm not a Breezies fan but took a look. No, the one you're talking about could not replace a half slip.

Think of wearing that under a skirt and standing in direct sunlight, not the coverage you would get with a half slip. Just long underwear IMO. Doesn't appeal to me at all.

Who in the world wants to wear long leg bloomers in the middle of summer?

@lavendar - I have the Jockey version of these (A373424) and wear them all of the time under skirts and dresses. They are not a control pant or shaper, but they do smooth you out. I wouldn't be without them!  Smiley Happy

@Desertdi    I heard it had warmed up considerably in Phoenix.  I fly into a panic when it gets so warm so early here (84° today).  It indicates we're going to have a long, very hot summer.  Last summer was just brutal.   Now I'm wondering if we're finished with cold weather and I can have my swamp cooler turned on.  You have to get on waiting lists.

I have these and they are wonderful.  Very light.  They are not hot at all.  I ordered another set.

@Kachina624    BRUTAL is the right word....The fire department was picking hikers off the mountains this weekend.....suffering from heat exhaustion.     I feel sorry for the dog-walkers (and dogs) in the heat.

94° and 15% humidity right now.....a record breaker at 2:30 in the afternoon.
