@on the bay  I don't think so much on this place is "judgemental".

Its just each's own personal opinion and experiences, that's all.

That's what chat rooms are, just opinions.  Where it gets bad is when 2  or 3 posters start going back and forth arguing their point to death and not letting it go. lol.

Seriously?! Smiley Tongue

I thought the robes were provided to wear when you get out of the shower @Nonametoday .  I would have never thought to wear them to breakfast.

Me either!

@spumoni99 @I am still oxox  Learn to be creative.  Wear it to breakfast, return to your room to shower and get two uses out of it.  I am so glad I had a mother who taught me to kill two birds with one stone, sotospeak.

I would never in a million years wear a robe in pubic.  I would not call that creative, I would call that lazy!

@Nonametoday - You make a disparaging (MEAN), unsubstantiated comment about French people and their hygiene, and I'm the "mean girl" because I challenged that statement?  (It's okay to dish it out, but not take it?)

As for dragging American servicemen into it - my brother was stationed in Paris (France) for 5 years and absolutely loved it.  He met his wife there.

Maybe in a Bed and Breakfast venue......

I don't know about true pajama sets, but maybe lounging pajama bottoms and a tee......or sets similar to the various Q's 'lounging sets'.

But, as someone here said, these are our various anonymous opinions.

No harm done.

This is one of the robes I recently wore on a cruise.  I wore it to breakfast 3 mornings in a row and then had a bownoflondon robe for the remainder of the days.  My husband wears turkish towel robes for such an occasion (Ralph Lauren).

@I am still oxox

re: your comment to @ nonamtoday   that you were surprised she wasn't asked to leave the cruise for wearing a lovely robe to breakfast.   I was on an Oceania cruise last summer & saw many things I wouldn't cpnsider wearing anywhere. I wouldn't wear my pjs to breakfast but the robe she wore was quite nice & it's ridiculous to think she should be asked to leave the cruise.
