Re: Bra searching - yet again!!

I'm all about the Genie bras!  Super comfortable and the molded cups give a nice shape.  I'm an a cup, so I appreciate the extra shape the Genie bras give me.

Re: Bra searching - yet again!!

I had a similar issue where i couldn't wear the underwire bras anymore........i loved the way my underwire  bras fit....i did buy a couple other bras w/o underwires which were ok....but what i did eventually is remove the wires from my old  bras with a little snip at the underarm point where the wire comes up and slid the wire out.....was able to wear my

old style in comfort.............i hope you find something that will give you comfort and satisfaction...

Nordstrom is great .Get a fitting and they'll suggest something perfect for you. Although  their bras are pricy you just need to buy one and then get more on amazon or eBay at a cheaper price.  I'm a 32G so definitely a hard bra to find .I needed a lot of support but I have a small frame and small waist.  I bought a Wacoal for 60.00 but then searched the item on ebay and got more for half the price!

@Leelee1123

Thank you!  I don't have any Nordstrom stores near me though.

@AngelPuppy1 About two weeks ago I bought a Wacoal bra from Dillard’s for $55. I had help from the sales lady with getting the right one. It has an underwire with t-shirt padding. Then I found a couple of them on the sales rack so eventually I will throw out all of the old ones.

@OKPrincess

Glad you found something you like! I don't have any Dillard stores near me.  About all I have are Kohls and Victoria Secret and Target.

Try Soma. If you have a store near you, they'll do a free fitting for you. If not, try ordering the Embraceable wireless bra from their website (style 570068343). They're $42, but currently on sale at 2 for $59. If you have Shoprunner, you get free 2 day shipping and returns with a $25 purchase.

@FrostyBabe1

No Soma stores near me.  But that sounds like a pretty decent deal and thank you for the bra #!!

I like Warner's tee shirt bras with the molded cup.  There is a wireless choice.  I get them at Belk and amazon.

@ECBG

Thank you.  Warner's is a brand I've always really liked.

Playtex Secrets Perfectly Smooth Wirefree Bra. I got mine at OneHanesPlace.com for $17.99 Style # 4707H However on that site the band size starts at 36, not sure how that would work for you though they have 3 different hook/eye choices. I've never checked elsewhere for the same bra to see if it starts in smaller band sizes. Excellent quality, have been washed heaven knows how many times but in a small smesh zip top laundry bag made for such things. Love this bra. Have a look at it, think you will too. Nicely molded (padded) to give you a nice look yet comfortable.

Wanted to add......in addition to it starting at 36, B is also the smallest cup size. Before I came back I did find the same style on the big site that starts with an A and same thing there 36 B is the smallest. But if you don't totally fill out a B cup (I don't) it doesn't matter because the cup is nice and firm, not hard but firm enough so it doesn't sink in where you don't fill it up!

@shaggygirl

That sounds good!  I wear a size 36B not quite filling it out either so this might be a good choice for me!  My chest structure is very bony and my shoulders very narrow and thin so in addition to the underwire issue, finding bras is reallh a challenge!  Thanks!

I recently went to Kohl’s in search of new wireless bras and I ended up buying the Bali Comfort Revolution flex fit seamless shaping wireless bra (hooks in back). It comes in small, medium, large, etc rather than the normal bra sizing.  A size small was recommended for my size but I found the medium fit me better. They do have foam padding in the cups. I think it’s very comfortable and I’m planning on going back for a couple more.

@itsmagic

Thank you!  I do have a Kohls.  They have a large selection so I will see if I can locate this particular one.

Try Her Room. It’s an online lingerie vendor that provides a wealth of information and advice on its website. They have the widest range of bra styles and sizes I’ve ever seen. That’s where I go whenever I need a type of bra that I don’t usually wear. Most of their resource links are along the left margin. Just follow the prompts. Once you get to the style of bra you want, they’ll suggest brands that make them. Then you can buy it there or see if anyone else sells it at a lower price.

@Eileen in Virginia

Thanks!  I think I did order from this company once and forgot about it.
