You might want to try the Q sister channel HSN. Rhonda Shear often has pecials there. She always tells you to buy the size you wear in a a top: such as S, M, L, XL and plus sizes 1x - 3x. The sales can be hit or miss, but you may find something that works for you

Re: Bra Recommendation

[ Edited ]

Not sure if they would have your size, but try Juno Active clothing

There is also a company called Resident Essentials that offers adaptive bras.

OP---had to chuckle as I read your post--not at you,  but just thinking about you having your hubs try to help out---he must be a gem of a man!!! Woman Happy my stupid ex would never in a million years help me out--one of many reasons he is stupid and my ex---Woman Wink anyway---

I have gone to my local Nordstrom store for help with my bra needs--I had a double mastectomy with no reconstruction and needed----or THOUGHT I needed a bra to hold  the  breasts prosthesis I used to wear---the girls  were fantastic!! Nothing fazed them about my flat-ish  chest and the road map of scars, lumps and bumps I still have. The bras , at that time, were by Wacoal and were around $60--they hooked in the back--that was 7-8 years ago. I am sure there are bras to suit you there. BTW---I don't wear a bra anymore--am happily flat chested.

@Nutzy I don't have a specific bra to recommend, but there are sports bras that provide support and have zippers in the front and that may make them easier to put on than stepping into a bra (which I have never been able to do thanks to my hips), or pull them over the head, which I have problems with if they have any support.  The bras I am referring to look like this:

Comfort Finds Women’s Front Zip Sport Bra - Wireless Hook Free Comfort Bra

I have worn Ahh Bras from Rhonda Shear (HSN) at home, but I am short and the straps are not adjustable and i thought the bra was too low, so I stopped buying them.  The stretchiness of the material was not durable.  I would have to put them over my head even though Rhonda recommended that wearers step into them.  The material stretches so that one can fix things around once the bra is in place.  While they are not durable, they are inexpensive so they can be replaced without breaking the bank.

As already recommended, I would check out the various Rhonda Sheer Bras, also as recommended Wacoal Bras are very good. Most stores will have an associate who can help you.Good luck.
