Everthing is so expensive. Maybe I'll try the Thrift Shops.

Yes,and quality is just not there.

In the past couple years I've discovered Lands End, Old Navy, Appleseeds, Jockey outlet, and even a few Amazon outerwear offering. Also Costco.
For nicer, LL Bean and as always Talbots--who has the best sales ever on very nicely (for the most part) clothing with a very wide range of fits!
These have replaced some sites I used to shop regularly. BUt always Talbots because I am short.

My go to place for inexpensive clothes is E-Bay. If I see it here I search there and more often than not find the same product for a lot less.
There are several different sellers that have tons of QVC stuff. Some even show pictures of the QVC models.
I recently bought 2 tops, one a light weight sweater for $16.99 and a fleece for $17.99 including shipping.

Old Navy and Kohls are reasonably priced for casual clothing. Also Macy's has great sales.

You may want to consider Amazon: many brands, good pricing; so far it's worked out for me - and, free shipping and returns.
Plus delivered to your door. Amazon will also pick-up your returns or you can return at Kohl's. So far the sizing has been spot-on. And, any item Amazon finds problemmatic it will be so noted on the item description.

Kohls, Costco, Old Navy, Macys and Amazon are where a majority of my clothing come from.
I got some really nice and comfy pants from Amazon for $29. Liked them so much I bought 4 pairs.
I also have lots from LLBean and Lands End when they have sales which is often.

I like Macy's. It seems like I can get some nice things at good sale prices. I also purchase some clothes at Costco, Sams Club, LLBean and Lands End. I love my Supima shirts from LLBean. They look nice, feel good, and wear/wash well. You cannot beat them. This is my favorite style. Look for sales, I do not buy much from the shopping channels because of the price and shipping costs.
My favorite LLBean Tee. Worth every penny, wears well, does not stretch out. Give a nice shape.

I agree about Kohl's and Macy's. Especially if you shop their sales and use the store coupons. Last week Macy's had the jeans that I wear on sale for $19.99. I had a $10 Macy's reward so I got the jeans for $9.99 plus tax and I got free shipping. I have bought several pullover sweaters from Kohl's this fall. I wait until they are on sale and I have a 30% off coupon. I get them for less than $20. Usually I have to pick then up in the store to avoid a shipping charge but that's OK. And if nothing fits or I don't like it I can return the items for free.

I'm thinking much lower prices. Thanks for all the references.
