I did not read this but heard the author Elizabeth Cline interviewed and she made so much sense. About the large quantity of cheap clothing we buy, compared with a few quality items each year as we used to do (at least that's what I learned from my family). And the terrible conditions for garment workers in the developing world. Her book is a real wake up call imo.
