I am not being nasty or judgemental but Bonnie definitely has gained some weight. They kept saying that she was a size 10 which I knew was not true. Now all of a sudden she is a size large/14. I think she is very beautiful and I don't care what size she is but at least her correct size is now being stated. It makes you wonder how many others aren't telling the truth about their size...

I think a lot of the hosts and the product reps lie about the size they are wearing.  I have never seen so many varieties of xxs!! LOL

I really don't care what size the models are or what size they wear. Looks can be deceiving. I go by what the garment measurements chart says whenever I buy something here.

@turtle52 I don't really believe they are not telling the truth. QVC does not want you to return items and representing the correct size is to their advantage. Different brands could make a difference in the size the models are wearing.

@justashopper QVC has extreme vanity sizing in many brands. I am really not that small 35*28*37, 5'3" 123 lbs. I have purchased the XXS in some brands that were too big, however, other brands I have to get a Small and once had to get an 8 due to the item running small by QVC standards. I personally could care less what my size number is. I just want it to fit. A 6 or Small is typically my brick and mortar store size. You are correct though, there are many varieties in XXS as there is in all other sizes.

Regardless of what size the models state they are wearing, I check the Garment Measurments before purchasing.

As soon as someone states they're not being nasty, judgemental or not bady shaming, they are.

This is so prevalent, that there is a commercial on my local radio station that draws attention to this fact in a humorous way.

Why have live models if they aren't wearing the correct size and are truthful about it?  Might as well go to a catalog.

@Carmie   What's body shaming about wanting to know what size a model is wearing??

@turtle52 Carolyn Gracie never told her correct size. She was constantly in things that were too snug or tight.

What proof do you have that QVC is lying about sizes that models are wearing, and what could possibly be the reason for it?

Nothing. It is not body shaming to want to know what size a model is wearing.

@turtle52   I bought an XS top at Nordstrom a few days ago, yet in spite of all the small and smaller models I've seen on QVC, absolutely none of them appear anyway close to my body type.

Right now in the part of my closet containing tops I actually plan to wear for the next few months, the sizes range from that XS to small or medium.   I still buy the majority of my clothes locally, but I do believe many of the hosts are smaller than the camera shows us.  I do check the size chart if I am doubtful - I hate even free and easy returns.

BTW -  none of the  bottoms in my closet are XS. I do not buy suits or sets.  To achieve that effect, I buy separates in my appropriate sizes.
