Our Bon-Ton is closing this month (northern MD)  ... in days gone by they used to offer "free wrapping," that stopped, then the beauty parlor moved out.  A sign of the times.

The Bon-Ton store (under another store name) in the upper-midwestern city where my mom lives is closing, and it will be a big loss for the mall there. It anchored one end, and Sears (the anchor at the other end) recently closed, as well.

The mall in my small city had Sears, Penneys, and Younkers as the anchor stores.  Sears closed first, then Penneys, and now Younkers.  There are no Macys stores in my entire state, but they advertise on TV here.  I wish they would take some of the Younkers locations.
