My first ever purchase from Boden USA arrived today. I've been looking at their clothes online for about a year and finally took the plunge.

Here's what I bought:

Ravello Top in Graphite blue

First the good news. It's a lovely top, nice silky material, beautiful color. But it runs really really big. I ordered a size 8 and it's huge. I'm usually a size 6 - 8 in clothing, but I thought their clothes might run small, as European clothes often do. Big mistake on my part.  

It's sold out in size 6 in that beautiful blue, so I would need to get a different color (green? navy?). And I'm not sure a 6 will be small enough. 

I love this top!  I'm going to stick with this brand until I get it right.

peaches, it is so frustrating when we find something we love and then discover it is not available in our size.  I have had a few Boden items and was alway impressed with the quality.   

That is a lovely little top.  Do you think a 4 would work?

I like Boden, and have a few pieces. They do size generously. I am 5'8", medium or large. In Boden sizing I wear 10-12. 14 is huge on me. Hope you enjoy the clothing; sales are to die for!

I LOVE Boden's clothing!  I have been happy with just about everything I purchased from them.  You can't beat the free shipping & free returns, too!  I pre-ordered a few things from their fall preview and they are just now starting to trickle in.  I'm not quite ready to start thinking about fall but couldn't resist., lol!   Enjoy your purchases!

It's good to know that others like the quality of Boden and enjoy their clothing.

The lower sizes on this top in blue are gone. I could buy green or navy, but the price is $30 higher. I don't want to pay extra for a color that's not my first choice.

I'll wait for another sale, another item, or the restocking of the graphite blue one.

Patience; it's a virtue (one I don't usually have LOL).

I lucked out at one of their sample sales. I love their dresses and got a great deal on one I have been wearing all summer. The sizing can be tricky because most items are big(like my gold pants) but then a cotton top I got ran more true to size, and I had sadly sized down. I can still wear it, just not as comfortably as I wanted(but it was $5 at the sample sale so I will deal) have to keep my eyes open for the next one.
