Blake Lively stepped out in New York City on Tuesday night for Chanel’s extravagant Métiers d’Art show at the Metropolitan Museum of Art wearing a glamorous gold sequin dress and cropped silk jacket — all by Chanel.

I think since Lagerfeld took over Chanel it's been a hot mess. My guess, CoCo is rolling in her grave. Classic, beautiful, timeless clothes and accessories are now over the top geared to those with so much disposal income they can now be tossed away season after season. Sad.

The top half of the outfit would have been stunning if she had worn stockings and shoes, instead of whatever the heck is on her legs. I can’t make out if they’re sequined boots or leggings. Either way the bottom half ruined the look. She, herself, is beautiful.

Blake is another who just stays the same no matter how many years go by, always beautiful.  The outfit would be nicer if worn in two or possible three different pieces and equal occasions instead of all at once.  Still she does get to go home to Ryan regardless of what she wore all day.
