I would wait if I were she...Macy, Nordstrom, etc are all forecasting deep discounts on apparel; she will likely do better right after Black Friday when they're really desperate to unload the stuff.

Of course, the flip side is that it's not easy to find a decent pair of pants in a size ten at the beginning of the season, much less on sale!
