@Mz iMac

True but there was really no point to it at that juncture. The shirts were gone and there was really nothing to be done. The throwing me a bone with a discount was an afterthought when I got off the phone because I've seen it done before. I've never asked for it but it's a gesture that I think is a smart one in retail

@Andreatoo

You may have been thrown a bone if you had of complained to the right folks. Smiley Wink

Bell is like Kohl’s or Macys. They hand out discounts like candy. Sending an apology email with a discount should be SOP.

You would think? It's a smart gesture but c'est la vie! It's not like I need another place to shop! LOL but when a certain enabler pointed out they had a shirt that I was already eyeing at Nordstrom ( and by eying I mean waiting for it to go on sale) naturally I jumped on it. So really what it boils down to is @lolakimono owes me a shirt!

😅😉😆

The order was canceled because they didn't have items, they over sold.  It happens.  They should have sent you the standard "we regret" letter.  Mistakes to happen but that snippy response from the c.s. guy was uncalled for.

@chrystaltree

Yes that would have been appropriate. And answering my email asking what happened to my order would have been appropriate too! LOL they compounded the mistake by ignoring me!

Do they do that a lot? Over sell? Cuz I've only ever had that happen with evine and it was twice within a couple of weeks and they sent me the sorry heres a money off coupon! but it hasn't happened since and that was a few years ago

@Andreatoo,If you want to get to the #1 guy, call your Belk number and when they ask you to dial your department, dial 101.
