Big Fringed Scarves Are Trending!

Long scarves with fringe are trending in particular; great for a cold area.  I love scarves, but at 5' 6" am more apt to fall over the long ones.Smiley Happy

There are winter coats with matching scarves.

Do you like scarves; will you wear them?

@ECBG  I would indeed wear them. I especially love the one in the picture. It's gorgeous. I'm about the same height as you and I'm definitely loving the look.

I knit a LOT of scarves and always debate whether I should put fringe on them.  I guess I got my answer--LOL!!!

Yes, love them. Have many.

Several years ago “super scarves” were popular in the knit and crochet circles. I have a box of them that I made. Even the European pattern mags showed them.

My fave is one I made from a German designer.

and others.

I buy winter scarves from Crossnore, in NC,a mountain school that teaches students to weave in the methods of the 1800's.  They are honored members of the permanently jurried craft guild and also make ponchos.

Put "scarf" in the info bar.

Thank you for sharing that information. I'm going to look them up. I wear scarves a lot. There is something special about a handmade item.

Don't own one and never worn one. Not cold enough here in Arizona.

I like that particular scarf, and the whole outfit.  If I had to walk in a city to get to work or take train or subway for commuting I would wear a scarf like that.  But I drive to work so, it would be to bulky and constricting for me.  But I do love that outfit!
