Beware the engineered print blouse or top!

OK, you see a cute top or blouse that has hanger appeal. It looks pretty online and you may even want to buy it but... try it on first! That's what I did today with a Calvin Klein polyester chiffon blouse.

It's a pretty blue floral print tunic on the hanger but when I tried it on the flowers in the engineered print were right over the bust area and not in a good way! I don't need two bullseyes on me!

Interesting advice. I might never have thought of that. I will be much more observant of just where a print positions itself on my body next time I try on an attractive top like you describe. I'm kind of busty and would not welcome extra attention to that area. Thanks!

Quite a few of the engineer or placement tops tops look like you're wearing an ultrasound image or x-ray image.

If I stare at it long enough, I can see the vase! No...wait...it's a silhouette of a man with a teeny tiny pineapple on his head!

I've seen some very unfortunate placement of engineered prints on skirts, too!

Totally understand your post! I love placement prints, but you really have to be careful or you can get all kinds of weird shapes on your body. IMO the worst ones are those that bullseye your breasts or point to your lower private area.
