I've been reading threads on the decreasing quality of Isaac's and whoever's pima cotton T shirts.  Who still has good ones?  I was wearing the Liz Claiborne for years and its time to start replacing them.  Most of my probems have been my own fault, not turning them inside out for washing and throwing them into the dryer.  I promise I will be more careful if I ever find another good line.

I have many Isaac pima cotton t's.  The older ones are much heavier.  The newer ones are more "silky" to the feel.  I think the quality is good just the fabric has changed... I also have some from Lands' End which are nice (cheaper!) and they feel more like  Isaac's newer shirts.  I wash mine on gentle, cool/warm water, and partially dry and hang to completely dry.  I use dryer balls never fabric softener anymore.  Hope this helps!

Cotton - everyday wear - Hanes.  Best prices.  They have a "beefy cotton" (I'm wearing one now) that's very nice.

Supima (LandsEnd pima) - excellent quality, color selection, styles and fabric.  I buy their supima turtlenecks.

Lands' End for me. Fabric is not too thick which I like for layering and also for sleeping in, too.

Tip for laundering pima cotton is to wash them with other cotton fabics only. Do not wash pima with synthetics b/c synthetics (poly, nylon, acrylics) will cause pima to wear out faster.

Since I live in Arizona I prefer Isaac's newer Pima cotton tops the originals. They are lighter weight but silkier.  Love them !  I do wash them in warm water and hang them up to dry.

On a recommendation here last year I have been shopping for tank and tees at Land's End and have been very pleased.

This morning I ordered a new Supima nightgown and 3 tank top as everything is on sale.  

Although I had to pay shipping as my order was less than $99 Rakuten had 15% cash back.

I used to get White Stag tanks at Walmart for years and loved them but they are no more.
