Is it just me or are the majority of Kim's ratings very middle of the road or on the low end? Her clothing has gotten way too expensive for the rating to be a "3 stars" on a top costing in the mid $60s. I am not finding many items with a higher than normal rating. I've read many of the posts on the Q Talk page and I notice that people tend to complain about her sizing being off now and things not matching what was described by the host. I just had to return 5 pieces of her clothing that were too big or just weren't appealing once they arrived. Maybe this is why she is now on one or their channels 24/7. Her sales may be way down and the quality has gone downhill also. I just can't pay the prices any longer for frumpy clothing. She tells us that everything is so boutique, but when you get it you begin to wonder what she is seeing that we don't.

@JoshsMom  I have purchased many of her garments over the years and I'm very pleased with what I have purchased.

My absolute faves over this past year has been her crushed velvet maxi dress. I have all 4 colors!

I have many pieces of Kim's and I'm very pleased with all of them.

Sadly, prices are rising almost everywhere and I fear the trend will continue.

Kim has generated a billion dollars in sales so she has to be doing something right!

I tend to buy more of her fall and winter clothing. Overall her summer clothing doesn't appeal to me.

Her "yachty" beach motif is over the top. I prefer clothing without all the beachy scenes, and extra little sparkles or beads. Having grown up in San Diego I'am over this silly clothing. Every summer it is an easy pass, and yes her clothing has surpassed even Logo in price.

I agree with you. Last year I brought quite a few of her clothing and loved them. Now everything I buy  I send back Too expensive and very cheaply made. The pants never fit right. I ike her a lot and love her shows but cannot buy any more of her clothes. Even though I do agree that all of the clothing lines have gone upI prefer quality so Dennis Basso it is for me. His clothes are worth the money.

I find a lot to be desired in Kim's clothing and haven't bought anything for a long time.

Too much sameness for one thing...how many top do you need to own in "sandbar"?  The color pallet is always the same.  The styles are also very much similar.  Spare me any more dangling tassels which are a mess after a trip through the washer and dryer.  I find the motifs childish and placed with no sense of aesthetics.  Very amateurish.

Mostly I find the fabrics used are not of the same quality as that in other QVC lines.  They don't hold up well in the laundry and they're too expensive to be disposable.

Kim needs to pay more attention to her presentations and quit giving inaccurate information.  I get the impression recently she zips in having never seen the merchandise she's selling.   In other words, she's "winging" it.

I enjoy watching Kim, however, I'm not a customer after some unfortunate purchases.

I purchased 5 of her waffle knit tops last year all the same size. The sizing was inconsistent and 2 of them were the same top! I did try a few of her summer pieces but they were hot with all the polyester/model and to expensive to keep being that I wasn't going to wear them June through September so I returned them.

Sadly for me I had to 'downsize' Kim Gravel

It is very dfficult to design for all women, much less the typical woman.

Some ladies like traditional and more formal, others prefer casual and comfortable.

Some people want to wear styles that will endure for years, others want fast fashion and what is new and in trend every year.

There are women who have very high fashion budgets, while others want bargains.

For some design is most important, for other construction and materials count the most.

The truth is, many women are a mix of all of this, and we often go through phases with our likes and dislikes.

I find designers come and go over the decades here on QVC, so it is not really appropriate to complain or criticize, because somebody somewhere likes one designer more than another.

And if you do really like something, buy and enjoy!

@Susan Louise  It's pretty but I break out in a sweat just thinking about velvet! Years ago I bought a lovely crimson velvet top for the holidays. DH and I went to a get together at a friends and after 20 minutes I had to borrow a top from the wife (my good friend) because I was dying in that thing. It was sooo pretty but I ended up taking it to the Goodwill Store!

@FancyPhillyshopper   Great post...I agree...

Even though I loathe the tassels that were on some of the Belle tops I bought/own, I removed the tassels very easily and tied a half knot at the end of the strands. Now I love the tops!

If I remember, later tonight or tomorrow I'll post a pic of those tops. Smiley Happy

ETA:

I just started a thread with the pics/info about the KG/Belle tassels.
