Re: Beautiful by Lawrence Zarian

@Beammeupscotty I appreciate your and the other posters opinion of this line.

I have been sorely tempted to purchase a pair of his pants but at 5'3", I do not want to pay to have them hemmed.

I didn't see today's show but will keep my eyes open for the next one.

Re: Beautiful by Lawrence Zarian

caught a bit of the show this morning when I was channel surfing.

Items were attractive, but when I saw how the fabrics "hung" on Pat, on the models and on the hanger - I decided that they were entirely too flimsy for me .... and cross the brand off my list.

@ALRATIBA..what does entirely too flimsy mean? What did you want the pieces to look like?

@KKlim

Flimsy is defined as "comparatively light and insubstantial."

Do you see how the fabric drapes because it is an lighter weight?

When the host or models walked, the fabric moved around them.  SG's liquid knit is a prime example.

I don't wear clothes like that.  Why waste my time watching?

I see now that u pointed it out. Obviously, the pieces had no lining either. Cheaper to make it like that.
Thanks !

I guess I figured the lighter weight items were meant for summer?  The Christina pants I ordered and had to send back were not lightweight.  My ruched tank is not lightweight.

Not disputing anyones opinion. Just speculating. Heart

@Beammeupscotty

You're probably right that it's their summer weight fabric, and there are plenty of women who do wear them.

I prefer other fabrics.

Re: Beautiful by Lawrence Zarian

I bought Lawrence's petite wide leg pants #638960 in clay red. They fit so well, were made so well, & were so nice that I went back & bought the same pants in navy. I'm 5'3.5" & the 28" inseam was perfect for me in flats.

Thank goodness the material was a lighter weight for the warmer weather. I really like the pants. (I don't wear heavy-weight wide leg pants in cold weather.)

I also bought the clay red tank that fits perfectly and the collared sweater #637340 in beige to go with those pants & other pants I already own.

The best way I find about a good fit is to read the measurements on the item's webpage.
