Looks like other lines are  taking advantage of the D&C success with beach pants.  Both Kim Gravel and Dennis Basso have added them to their lines.  Can Isaac

and Susan be far behind?

They may be "the thing" to own this year.  IMO at least they're better than a long, confining dress.

The D&C beach pants are my at home attire. They are comfy and forgiving. I bought three more on the TSV day. One of them was from last year's offering.

I wonder if the other designers will be using different fabrics and fits.

@On It.  One difference...the "designer" pants are a lot more expensive.

I was forever grateful for beach pants I purchased through the years from Denim & Co.

I broke a foot and had knee surgery along the way and they made things far easier for me.

Re: Beach Pants

[ Edited ]

I had to get rid of a wide polyester type pants because I kept tripping on them going up and down stairs.

Aren't these the type of pants that people were calling pajama type pants that they would never wear outside?

Now they are selling them everywhere.

I've been wearing them for years and always get compliments.

I think they are fun and nice to wear if not too wide and especially if made of cotton and nothing else but those are very hard to find.

@Mersha.  Kind of like owning at least one bra that fastens in front, especially if you live alone.

I do love my maxi dresses in the summer but beach pants work just as well.  Assuming the fabric is light and breezy.  I bought three pair of D&Co Beach pants in last spring and despite my weightloss they fit.  I'm wearing a pair now as lounge pants.  They are just a little more relaxed than they were last summer.  I found the two maxi dresses I bought from Old Navy at the end of last summer.  They also are just a little more relaxed this year.  Yes, that style of pants is very popular this year. I think all the designers will offer them.  But I don't need any more.
