Has anyone found any great clothes or accessory bargains lately?  There are tons of great sales out there right now.  Stores are clearing out the summer stuff to get ready for fall items.

I bought a few short sleeve polo shirts at K-Mart for $8 each.  They have contrast taping on the placket and collar and are made of pique cotton, so they are very nice looking. I have a classic preppy style when I am dressed casually, so I have already worn these with walk shorts and jeans.

I also found a 3/4 sleeve striped giraffe top in beige, a short sleeve shades of blue abstract top, and a short sleeve teal cardigan at Macy's.  After sale and my coupons I got all 3 pieces for about $35.

Finally, at Off Braodway Shoes I found 2 pairs of leather peep toe wedge pumps for $35 each.  One is a light nude color, and the other is white across the vamp with black on the heel and wedge.  I wore the white/black shoes to church last weekend.

Anyone else want to share what they have found on sale lately?

Well, "bargain" is in the eye of the beholder.  I just picked these up, from Cole Haan.

They have the Nike Air technology. They retail for $198, but I found them on Amazon (several days ago) in my size for $67 and free shipping.  I just received them today and have been walking around in them around the house- like PILLOWS!

If you like them, they're also at 6pm.com for a substantial savings (60% off + free shipping).

After wearing them around the house, however, I would gladly pay full price for these as I stand all day for work and it's important to have happy feet.  Cat Very Happy

Hi Wilma,

You found some great bargains!!  Love it when that happens.

I was at Marshall's last night and found a few things...a casual tunic length med blue/dark blue striped 3/4 sleeve v-neck to throw on w/jeans...a slightly dressier tunic length subtle white/navy print henley-type popover in rayon...

and, shocker for me (I think I've been influenced by the Def Leopard thread) LOL!!...

a pair of skinny Vintage brand jeans, which, at first glance, I thot were some sort of camo, but they're olive with a subtle flower print in darker olive with splashes of orange/coral...32" inseam YAY!...look slim rather than skinny YAY!...the one and only thing I have in my closet that's olive and a print pant!!

Total = $70

Have a great day!

I agree that bargains don't have to super inexpensive items.  I think those shoes are a great bargain.  I have one pair of Cole Haan shoes I found on sale for a similar discount last year.  I love a good wedge for work - so much more comfortable than a skinny heel.

Marshall's is a great place to find good bargains.  I have found some really nice things there over the years.  Enjoy your purchases.

I mentioned this before. I just bought a purple leather jacket for $3 on E-Bay. I had worried that something was wrong with it, but it arrived the other day and it has no flaws that I can see. A "gently" worn item. I'm looking forward to wearing it this fall/winter, either back north in October or here later on.

@StylishLady

Have you had your leather pieces cleaned?  I took a suede 3/4 sleeve jacket to the cleaners, and she said it gets sent out and would probably be $50 to be cleaned.  It's the cut of a denim jacket- not a winter coat.  Yikes!

The Cole Haan animal print shoes are nice. I have a black pair of Cole Haan ballet flats that I bought earlier this spring at Winners in Canada. They were more expensive than what I wanted to pay but they fit perfectly and that is something that doesn't happen very often.

I bought a pair of Hush Puppies ballet flats with a strap on sale at a Walk with Ronsons outlet store and a pair of Clairks Kyna Wit coral red wedge sandals too.

I wouldn't say that they were super duper bargains but I did get both pairs for $100 including tax.

Again, not bargain basement prices, but almost 50% off at Off Fifth- calf hair leopard belt (to go with the aforementioned shoes, of course).

Same store- 50%+ off.

I didn't get this, but it's 85% off now, for $14.99 (limited quantity).
