I know I'll get jumped for this but, what in the heck?
The cost for anything in this line is way overpriced.
I do own a poncho from barefoot dreams and it's just ok. I did buy it from the Q but there's no way I was paying full price. It was a clearance item a couple of years ago. The cozy chic does feel somewhat like plastic? I bought into the hype I guess.
They are showing some cute things today but I'm not buying.
The fact that it's a California company dictates the cost probably and Oprah mentioning their items as her favorite thing drove the prices even higher.
I'll probably keep watching their presentations just to see what all the cool people are wearing🤷🏻‍♀️

Never ordered this brand.  I happened to be in Nordstrom's the other day, and I checked out a BD cardigan on sale for $99.  Didn't seem like anything special.  I would only pay that for 100% cashmere, otherwise way overpriced.

I just get sick of seeing it, especially since the last thing I need during the hottest summer on record is a cozy sweater.  Scarcely a day passes with an hour or other BD presentation.  We see way too much of it.

I watched 3 movies in the last few months that looked like the character was wearing a Barefoot Dreams sweater. The sweater was used as a bathrobe, and that's exactly what they look like to me.

Well in BD's defense, I have to say that their items last for years.  I have several pieces which I have purchased since they first started appearing on the Q and wear them constantly during the cooler weather.  They still look good.  I throw them in the wash, use the dryer just to get the excess water and then hang dry.  I don't have many other brands, in my closet, I can say that about.

Way over priced for polyester. Some nice designs but I can't

breathe in poly..way too hot.

To each their own.  I own several pieces and love them.  I've also given the scarves and cardigans as gifts to my family and I know they like them because I see family members wearing them frequently.

I don't like them either. Frankly you would never see this type of sweater these days on anyone fashionable in NY or London or Paris. It is definitely a CA brand that they have marketed heavily especially after it made Oprah's list.  I think it is overpriced for what it is although many justify the cost by saying it is so soft.   I  can find many just as soft sweaters at half the price that don't look like an oversized sloppy robe.  I just don't think the sweaters look that flattering to anyone wearing them. I will say too I don't think the brand is as popular as it once was. A lot of celebrities have moved on from it.

Saw a top for $70 and aloud  I said......NOT more than $40.  And in a store $30

Just then Terri  (name HOST)  SAID U PROBABLY THINK $70 IS A LOT FOR   A    T- SHIRT.  (she heard me)

But this is prima and last & last....blah blah

I've looked & touched their pieces in Nordstroms & Dillards. They're cute & seem like quality items yet I don't see the value, mostly a sales appeal to celebrity imo.
