I don't watch QVC much anymore because I can't stand the hosts. However, I saw that there was a Barefoot Dreams show so I started to watch. Within 5 minutes I had to mute sound. The host talked about her daughter, her father, a friend named Mary - all within a span of 5 minutes. QVC you really need to do something about hosts going on and on endlessly about things that have nothing to with what they are selling.

there is nothing anyone can tell me about barefoot dreams that i haven't heard hundreds of times

certainly repeating same over and over in an hour show.  the same info is repeated over and over and over within the show.

so i miss nothing if the host talks about something else.

but then i don't have a bias against any host

Well I suspect QVC is hoping to attract new customers to their channel, or customers interested in Barefoot Dreams who don't watch the host that usually presents BD in the evening. I suspect there are hundreds like me that haven't heard hundreds of times about the line.

All I want to hear from any host is information about the product.

@Barks2005 ....and yet another reason I quit watching. It would have to be a very special show for me to tune in and my finger is always on the mute button.

@Barks2005  -  Jane T. has been doing this unrelated family talk for years.  I don't think the powers that be will ever change anything.      I usually just watch it on mute.

@San Antonio Gal.  My solution is to never watch QVC in the evenings.  The whole line-up is disgusting.

I turned off that show, not because of Jane T. whom I have no qualms about but for the product which I have no use for.

You could say this about just about everything QVC sells: Susan Graver, It cosmetics, Jose Maran, Laura Geller, Logo, it goes on & on. Same old selling lines!!!
