@Andreatoo   I agree.  I like the zipper fly front the best.  Second choice is a side zip trouser.  I don't want the elastic waist in slacks or jeans and usually won't purchase them.

I have one black velvet pair with the elastic waist that I bought at Chico's in desperation, and one floral patterned pair that was a lunch time special here from Isaac Mizrahi because I was attracted to the print.

I am a size four and don't need any "ease" in my waist or hip area.

Love the pants, sweater, and scarf not so much.

@aroc3435 I would love to read what you think of the pants when you receive them.

The outfit looks great on her but I would die of heat stroke, LOL.  I live in Pennsylvania & it gets plenty cold but unless I'm doing outdoor stuff this is too much for me. I find I only wear brown tones in October and November. By December I'm into more green, red, and jewel tones.  I just noticed this about myself! Thanks for posting the pretty outfit, nice to see a more classic style.

The outfit is lovely, very classic. Unfortunately I can't wear wool even for a second....itching, swelling, red skin, very painful. Sigh. But if I could I'd be looking into this set.

@Greeneyedlady21  they do look like salt and pepper things.

My brain says, "No way", but they sure look like it.🤣

Love this loose straight leg look.

Sweater, too.

Would love to 'copy' that look, at a more affordable price.

Not wool, though.

Gorgeous trousers!

Perhaps the Q will take notice that many of us love trousers like this!

you mean pants with "bu'ons and zippers" that are so uncomfortable
