For over 20 years I have been a QVC customer. Whenever an order of mine would go to backorder status, 90-95% of the time I would eventually receive what I ordered.

For the past 2-3 years though, my faith dwindled quite a bit. It became rare that I would receive any of those orders.

As of today, my latest backorder I placed on 7/2 just went into 'preparing your order' mode.

Knock me over with a feather...LOL

I'm overjoyed to say the least...

It it the 3rd Jennie Garth Dylan jacket I will have. The other 2 I managed to be extremely lucky getting them new w/o tag through Ebay...the small in the grey blue wash & seagrass green.

So folks, don't give up on an order if it goes to backorder status!

Well that is a pleasant surprice @Susan Louise .     I see there are some available with the As Is price.

I love finding a good deal on Ebay too!

@Susan Louise. Congratulations,  maybe there's hope of receiving your jacket.  I don't think I've ever had a backorder fail to ship.

Absolutely! Ebay is a great site to get deals and especially finding particular items not available anymore!

Yes, there are several 'As Is' jackets...but unfortunately the size small in 3 of the colors have had the issue of 'just missed it' when trying to place an order for them.

I don't know how many, if any of the other sizes for the jacket in the 'As Is' also has the same glitch/issue.

I have been hoping that the glitch would finally go away. For literally months I have been trying to order the washed black - small...ugh.

When I kept checking back with the original item #, a small - light wash became available on 7/2 and I ordered it immediately (at the *clearance sale price* - $35.98)...and then that is when it went to backorder within minutes. So glad the status has been updated in my favor.

Just an update:

The price of the Jennie Garth Dylan jacket dropped for both the original item # and the 'As Is'! I just called CS and got the price adjustment for my order.
