BLUSH PINK ADDED TO WARDROBE

[ Edited ]

OK, so late to the party, but didn't think I could pull off a light, pastel color. I tried on a sweater a few weeks ago and am hooked. I now have a few tops...sweaters, tops, tees and a shirt and found blush Clark's to complete my ensemble. I did learn there's a very washed out pale blush shade and some w/ slightly more color.

Of course, I needed to change to a rosey blush and lip, but like the pale pink tops. They match well with my denim, grey, black and white pants.

I love blush. It works well with my warm skin tone.

I don't think of blush as pastel. Pastels have cooler undertones (I think) because I look like death warmed over in pastels.

I am not really a "pink" girl but do like the blush pink--however some of that color looks too much like skin color---I had a top like that and it looked horrible on me---am fair skinned--not a lot of color to me, can wear a more saturated pink--but love pink shoes.

I love blush pink, and will be sad when it goes "out" and you can't buy it anymore.  I'll still wear what I have, though.

Re: BLUSH PINK ADDED TO WARDROBE

Thanks for reminding me..........I have a pale/blush pink mock neck, very soft sweater stored away.

Love that very soft tint of pink.

It's not a long sweater at all.

Now, I'll go 'fetch it' next time I'm upstairs.

Thanks for the reminder!

'By the bye', anyone here have a few photos of soft/blush pink items?

Maybe Lolakimono?

Re: BLUSH PINK ADDED TO WARDROBE

I wear pastel and pearlized pinks as long as they're cool toned. I feel and look good in these. But icy pink is too cool for me.

If I hold my gaze on the popular warm blush pink (with yellow undertone) I become nauseated. Same with warm blues and teals.

If I wear these near my face I look horrible and feel depressed.

Funny how colours can effect us physically.

@Shanus   I love blush but it's so close to my skin tone, I wonder if I look nude.  Naw, the wrinkles would prevent that perception.  I'll just carry a blush bag.  Great neutral.
