I have several D&C French terry tops that have hoods.  Today I wanted to put up the hood because of the wind.  The front of the hood nearly went down to my nose.  Is there any way to actually USE the hood and be able to see? Some trick that I am unaware of?

Re: BIG hoodies...what to do?

Put a stretchy headband on over it.

I fold the front part of the hood back sort of like you would do with a cuff on a sleeve or a pant leg.

@SilleeMee LOLOLOL that's what I always did is fold it back like a cuff.  I didn't think anyone else did that. I've never found a hood that fit my head.  They are always huge.   I might try the safety pin fix as I never thought to do that.  Smiley Happy

It would help if they all had ties!

But I would just use a super big pin, but then you have those pin pricks in the garment.

Re: BIG hoodies...what to do?

If you're going to use safety pins on clothing, I suggest using this type of pin b/c there is no coil on the end which can sometimes get caught in fabrics and make a mess. Also, these kind of pins are slightly bent so that makes them easier to push through thicker layers of fabric. I find that the 2-inch size is most useful.

Some of my hoodies have drawstrings, but for those that do not I like these ideas.

When I lose the TV controller, it's always in some remote destination.
