Re: BCBGeneration Embroidered Organza Jacket

This is a beautiful jacket.  I actually like the zipper placement-gives it a nice asymmetrical look.  I would wear it with black leggings and a tomato red tank top.

Cute jacket. I dont mind the zipper, its fashion. i would wear it the same way with a tank top underneath in the summer so the print on the arms shows.

@Annabellethecat66

I used to pass G Street Fabrics every day on my way to work at 19th & E.

One afternoon, I walked up to look around.  I nearly fainted.  Such beautiful fabric, trims, buttons.  A haven for sewers.

Have no idea if it is still there.

Not for me. I dislike the asymmetry, the sheer fabric, the zipper, and the collar. I like the embroidery - just not on this item.

@Witchy Woman It is/was fun to just go in there and be amazed at all of the amazing fabrics, buttons, threads, etc.

I googled it after seeing you post and was surprised at how many there still are since people don't sew anymore.

The one I used to go to doesn't seem to be listed.  I didn't realize there were so many still around in the DC/Va/Md area since they are very large and would need a large building.
