Generally they don't pill, but after numerous washes they aren't as soft as when they are new.

There are lots of knock-offs on Amazon, but I don't know how the quality is.

@Luvsmyfam.  IMO, no it is not worth the price.  I have several sweater that are softer, nicer, less expensive.

Don't fall for the sales pitch.

I am wearing the TSV set today from a few weeks ago. I bought it in 4 colors. I have been recovering from an illness so they are nice to lounge in but also OK if someone comes to the door. I also purchased various cardigans in pretty colors over the past few years. I am tall so the extra long sleeves and ability to purchase the Tall is a drawing point. None have shrank or pilled @Luvsmyfam .

I am waiting on receiving the TSV blanket from last week.

I happen to really LOVE Barefoot Dreams, and I was also skeptical.

At first I was not sure about all the hype, but I ordered the Cozy Chic once (the heaviest one) and I found the fabric so soft, warm, and silky.  In the Winter I usually wear a lot of cashmere, and I have to use a liner because it can itch me slightly.  BD always feels good on my bare skin.

I do think that BF is very highly priced, so I wait for all the sales.  Some of the sweaters can droop if the design is not tightly structured. Pullovers are good choices, even if Cozy Chic Lite.  Sadly, BD rarely uses buttons or closures.  I would not buy the TSV today, because I do not like those two hanging front flaps.

Some styles are just for lounging--some can be worn for many activities.

I bought some BD socks-they are okay--I think Ugg socks are actually better.

My favorite purchase besides pullovers is last year's cardigan, A6150050, which is now only 79.99. So far I have purchased three different colors!  The cardigans work for both casual inside, and for going out/business functions.

I am not a lover of BFD clothing, I thought I was but ended up changing my mind on that, so I will not be buying it again. I think it grossly over priced and though it starts out soft that seems to change over the washes. (I'm talking blankets and throws here.)

@Luvsmyfam

  The brand  is selling the California chic lifestyle and Oprah Winfrey's  promting  the brand as her favorite. If you're one who is influenced by celeb's then this BFD   line is for you.

Reminds me of the series "  Big Little Lies ".

I don't care for the  BF Dreams line .Bought one  TSV cardigan as a gify for a family member that wanted it. The fabric is spun synthetic which the Rep calls " yarn " .

It catches lint  & animal fur .

I have some of the older cardigans (styled just lie the TSV) and wear them every winter.  But they are a heavier material.  They wash and dry beautifully and are very soft and warm.

I ordered one of their lighter weight hooded sweaters a couple years ago and find it comfortable as well as easy to care for.  But it does shed when worn.  The older BFDs do not.
