I personally love my Barefoot Dreams sweaters. I have five for myself and I purchased a sweater for my son who is a pilot for his birthday. He loves it. I wash my sweaters in cold water with a detergent made for gentle clothes and I use the gentle cycle. Lay it on a towel to dry. they have never pilled. I have also sent them to the cleaners with my cashmere sweaters.  Thankfully they do not get soiled often.   They look high end quality, so I think they are worth the price especially if you get them on sale.

@Calcgirl I do as well.  I have many pull overs that I am always reaching for this time of year.  They are warm and so soft.  I have never had any issues with pilling.  They all wash very well and look brand new.

To the OP:  you can return items for refund until Jan 31.  Use EZ Pay.  The brand has a wide variety of styles & fabrications. Get something you like and try it out.  Me - I bought an UGG long bathrobe last March, made from the identical fabric as BD.  I LOVE IT.  I even slept in it one very cold night.  Today I ordered their heavier sweater-jacket because I need it for this cold damp weather. And the colors + style are right for me.

I have a few cardigans and love them for travel.  Mine have never pilled and have laundered well, following their instructions.  Easy - Cozy - Long wearing.

Price point is on the higher side.  Too few fresh colors offered.

Enter Softies - which seems like a competitor brand, recently offered on QVC.  Some nice Softies colors on Amazon too.  Similar price point.

I personally love BFD. I didn’t buy it because of Oprah’s endorsement of them, I wanted to try them out. I’m glad I did. I don’t pay full price for any of their products. Have lots of the pants, do comfortable. I’m not one for jeans, I’m more for lounge wear, and BFD is my go to.

I LOVE their pullovers.  I always try to get them.  I have never had one pill on me....ever.  I still have each one I purchased.  I started buying them when they first appeared on QVC.

I heard a caller this afternoon with Terri & Maria she purchased three of the tsv's and four of the OTO pants for herself.  She has a large collection of BFD and she buys for her hubby too.

I'm a huge fan.  I have several cardigans myself and have bought a few for gifts this year as well as the TSV throw from a few weeks ago and the socks from yesterday.

Even though I live in NYC I do a lot of driving for my job and frequently wear my BD cardigans instead of heavy jackets when it's very cold out.

@Luvsmyfam  -  I have a pullover sweater, 2 cardigans, and a throw.  I've not experienced any pills or issues thus far.   I've been pleased with my purchases.

The throw is extremely soft.  It's on my bed now and my little doggie loves it.

BD is pricey so I only purchase when the Q offers a special or sale price.

Yes agree. Amazon has options. It is all the same without the hype marketing. You can get many styles and not spend a small fortune. If they get worn out at least it wasn’t the cost of groceries or gas in the car.
