Sorry I don't mean to be a Debbie Downer but he's not that handsome to me. But I don't like overly handsome men anyway. Usually there's a lot to be desired in personality.
Pretty sure next to Charlie Hunnam he would look like a CPA with a cute haircut.

Another fan here!...He was so impressive in his role as Elvis and I have been looking forward to his next movie...I have also seen him on interviews and he comes across as very humble, down-to-earth and very genuine.

Looking forward to "The Bikeriders"!

I had read where he had to go to a speech therapist to help him get rid of his Elvis accentl...He had studied so diligently and hard for his role that some mannerisms stayed with him for a while.

Not right in the face, but profile looks just like James Dean. The way he is dressed, the motorcycle, the hair but when you look at him straight-on, he has a baby face compared to Dean's. I loved James Dean. Then it was Elvis. I had two loves within about 3 years' time. I hated (envied) Piper Laurie and Natalie Wood because they dated both. I don't think Austin looks like Elvis. I thought he did a good job in the movie and the way they would photograph him, you could think he was Elvis and the music was great. But, the only resemblance he has to Elvis is the way they cut his hair, styled him and profiled him. Elvis's face (as a young Elvis) was more high cheeked and sharp chin. Not such a baby face as Austin. Does not take anything away from either in the looks department, but I just don't think he looks like Elvis. He is a nice young man, however.

Face-on, Brad Pitt looks more like Dean than any of the movie stars in recent times. If Brad Pitt had worn that motorcycle jacket, ridden a motorcycle and let his hair grow so that he could style it that way, he would have been a near-double for JD.

Oh, he is gorgeous!!!! Loved him in "Masters of the Air" about WWII pilots (DD flew a B-17).....didn't realize he and Kaia Gerber were together. Beautiful couple.

I had no intention of seeing the Elvis movie-with some young guy who thinks he IS Elvis. But I came upon it channel surfing-On Demand special was showing so I heard Elvis singing and couldn't change the channel. Then I saw this guy-I don't know, but he has something. I guess I was wrong putting him down. He was very good and grew on me in every scene. I hope he goes far. BTW, is that WWll movie a series or a movie? I just watched the trailer and it has my interest. Thnx

Am I the only one who hears Martin Short saying "Armani does not make a navy blue tux-ah-doe" It was a line from Father of Bride that makes me giggle.
