@gizmogal I'm about the same height and aside from that, thats all we have in common but I like them! I hope you are going to pair the pants up with a navy solid top and a pair of navy shoes. I love navy and who says you can't wear camo.

Oh my, I'm on a Q diet and I really really like these.. I have a blue camo top/sweatshirt from Serena Williams that's about 2-3 years old that I wouldn't pair up but I love blue camo.

Do you have a Target nearby?

I ask this because when I needed to purchase camo items for my school's Spirit Week (and didn't want to spend a fortune) I went to Target and tried on a bunch of items. They are the Mossimo brand, below.

Women's Camo Utility Pants - Mossimo™ : Target

When I went to Target's site today, I found these, in plus. The model in the photo is wearing a size 16 and is 5'10", for reference. They are from Ava & Viv.

You could go and try them on in store to see how you feel about camo bottoms, and then if you like them, order your blue pair from the Q since you already know how that style fits. I will say that I wear mine way more often than I thought I would (I would probably wear blue ones even more often than I wear the green ones). These are $34.99.

@gizmogal.......You wear what you like. I used to always worry if something I was wearing was ok and if it looked right. No more. If I like it I wear it! It's your life and since we only live once, do what makes YOU happy. I'm 65 and I dress for me!!

@gizmogal Just looked, I like A280893 camo pants better (everyone says they run big) along with IM's A278784 in Royal Navy. That outfit would look really good together.

I love camo, also in my 60's.. I would wear with a solid top and maybe a vest.

I'm 5'2" the inseam is 28", that's what I wear. I thought Carolyn Gracie looked great in them this morning on D & C. I'm going to order some me and my daughter. If you like them.. you should buy them. I like blue color ones.

Buy what you like and see how you feel when you try them on. You'll know then whether or not to keep them.

Oh such constructive, candid responses. The Nays were thoughtful and gentle, the Ayes gave me courage and confidence. Maybe I'm rationalizing a doubtful decision, but the Ayes prevailed. I ordered the pants in blue, size 20. I'll have to bite the bullet for return costs if I try them on and know they're wrong for me. But I'll have it out of my system! Then again, they could be just right and I'll like them enough to keep and wear in cooler weather. So many encouraged he to make myself happy fashion-wise, I couldn't turn down this modest experiment.

I have to thank you all for composing pleasant replies and posting timely enough for me to order before my size and color ran out. My camo pants are In Process and EDD is about a week. Two EZ pays! I don't expect anyone here to stand by with bated breath, but I hope to pick up this thread again after my order arrives and report back how the look and fit turned out. Keeper or return...

As I often privately observe, this forum is a very spirited, sweet community, ready to help and support reliably. I'm not surprised at how positive it was to read all your posts.
