I do too.

Me three.  It almost makes up for the awful dress. (But not quite.)  I agree that it's the necktie/bow thing that's ruining the dress for me.

Sister, sister! Princess Eugenie wore a dress by Calvin Klein while Princess Beatrice (right, left image) wore a Maje dress and Bundle MacLaren hat

The girl on the right - I get the names mixed up - is dressed too old and matronly for her age.  This dress looks like something a much older lady would wear.  Doesn't do her any justice at all.

They often look a bit uncomfortable in photos.  As much as they are out in the public eye, hope that is not the case.  Guess many people, myself included, do not like to be photographed.

As always Kate is lovely.  The expression with her nose crinkled is cute.

The darts on Eugenie's dress are pretty unfortunate.

I've wondered the same thing.  Does she just ever want to stay home and hang out in her jammies?

Probably not Cat LOL

The grass is always greener...

I suspect there are days when Kate  is sitting in hair and makeup, donning a long sleeve fitted dress, sky high pumps and yet another fascinator and secretly longs to be home with her three adorable children.

Happy occasion: Prince Edward and Sophie Wessex, who celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary today, also attended but kept a low profile by skipping the carriage procession. They also stayed under cover, pictured, to avoid the worst of the rain

I never knew this was a thing ......

Queen Elizabeth II (left) wearing light blue at day two of Ascot 2019 next to a picture of a bookmakers board with odds on what colour she will wear next.

Bookmakers are rubbing their hands with glee after they were swamped with bets on the Queen wearing pink to Royal Ascot today.

But to many people’s surprise she was dressed in light blue for the second day in the row at day two of the races.

Racegoers are placing their bets for tomorrow with pink being the favourite at 2/1 odds.

Harry Aitkenhead from Coral said: ‘Blue is definitely the colour for the Queen this week but she’s left punters feeling every inch just as blue as the gamble on pink being her day two outfit has been well and truly foiled.’

Nicola McGeady of Ladbrokes said: ‘Nobody expected Her Majesty to wear another blue hat with all money going on pink.’

The few people who did take a gamble on blue today would have enjoyed a handsome return with odds placed at 10/1.

A hat-trick of blue hats tomorrow has been chalked up at 16/1 by Ladbrokes ahead of yellow and green at 3/1.

Here are the odds for the Queen's hat at day three of the races:

Pink 2/1

Yellow 3/1

Green 3/1

Purple 6/1

Red 8/1

Blue 16/1

Orange 10/1

Cream/White 10/1

Silver 12/1

Gold 14/1

Brown 20/1

Black 50/1

Union Jack 500/1

I assume that, under that jacket, is a sleeveless sheath.  There’s something about this that I really like (sans jacket and hat...and pearls) and actually think one of the younger royals would look great in it too.

I also like Sophie’s black and white day 2 hat.
