Lately the Q has been showing a lot of new pants that have fairly large vertical slits at the bottom. When did slit pants become a thing? I'm not seeing them anywhere else.
And please, QVC clothing buyers, remember that some of us still prefer full-length pants instead of cropped or ankle pants. I am just not comfortable in pants that feel too short.

I’m not a fan of ankle pants either, so I buy my clothes at retailers other than QVC.

They must be. Colleen Lopez had a pair in her collection a couple weeks ago. They have a slit up the side of each leg and faux pearls down the seams. I'm starting to see them show up more and more.
Personally, except on very casual summer pants, I don't care for the look. For beach pants I think it's very cute.

I am going to save money this summer with all the ugly styles I know some like them but not for me

I think they became "a thing" this spring. I see them everywhere. Catalogs, shopping channels, fashion magazines. I just haven't seen them on any women yet.

I like them. Not sure if they are a "thing" or not.

The pair from Macy's with the long slit have been in style for a couple years.
