navy and black together

Orange and blue.  Aqua and peach ok usually.  But blue and orange?  Makes me queasy to think about.

@ECBG .  Ditto on all those blech.  I don't like brown with anything, love taupe and cream though. Same with purple, won't wear it.

@ECBG  Don't like Black n' White, too stark. I prefer Black n' Cream, navy and cream. White n' Cream or Navy and Gray. As I've gotten older, I don't like any bright colors either, any combo of. IMO they are too harsh as we age. I do like pastels if they are very light.

Muddy and murky shades, especially of warm colors. Like all colors, pale to bright, but clear shades. Also, yellow is a fave, but not with brown.

Yeah, I still don't understand that navy and black thing. 

I don't recall ever seeing them together and it looking good.  Where did that even come from?

When our son was in his 1st year of Little League the team was the Orioles, orange and white! All the parents bought  orange and white baseball style tees to wear to the games. I gritted my teeth and wore it LOL.

And I cringe when I see orange and blue in clothing or home decor.

Ditto ... absolutely nothing orange in my closet, either.  I won't even buy something in a print if it has orange in it.

I get excited over bright colors in almost any combination that doesn't include green.  I think olive is the nastiest color one could wear and does nothing for anyone.  I wouldn't have it on me or in my home.  It ought to be banned.
