Re: Aran sweaters, anyone purchasing?

I absolutely love these sweaters and I love the Irish shows. I nearly missed it today but I'm catching the three hour show and couldn't be happier. Over the years I have amassed about 7 sweaters, jewelry, Fairy doors, and even a handmade wooden stool from their cottage industry (this was years ago). Today I purchased A218128 in the Natural. I love this style with the buttons on the pockets. Makes the sweater look more modern.

And I loved the one and only Scottish show they had on years and years ago ONCE!

I buy something every Irish Show~!!

If they ever do a semi-fitted, natural-color, classic pullover Fisherman's sweater (not unisex; one just for women) I'll be first in line to order!!

ITA, although in the climate where I live now, I wouldn't get much wear out of it. The sight of these sweaters makes me roast and I wouldn't wear them except on the very coldest days.

Me again!! Is everyone staying true to your QVC size? Thanks!

So, I read some Q&A's under some sweaters and it seems like each sweater is different and they can be true to size, too small, or too large!

They have the "click here" for more details on measurements option under each description for the sweater....so perhaps it would help comparing those measurements with the regular ones which are listed on a separate tap under the product?

Although, honestly, I am not sure what all of those measurements mean exactly! I just check the chest and waist "circ.".... Hope it helps!

Now I'm undecided. Just saw the other hot pick on Jessica, who's a large. Not very flattering. I'm an XL; however, I have the opposite body shape as Jess (I'm larger on top with a smaller middle....slightly smaller). I guess I'll wait for the presentation to order. Maybe the 98 degree heat index is affecting my ability to pull the trigger.

I am a S in Denim & Co and LOGO. In the Irish sweaters, I size down to a XS. I will say that I'm a 34B...if you are more endowed that I am, you may want to stick with your regular QVC size. Oh, and the XS does afford me plenty of room to wear a layering piece underneath

So, I just found their website and wow, they offer some of the same selections but their prices are way higher! I saved $17 on one sweater and $34 on another one by ordering from QVC!
