I have several and my favorite is A259709. I have it in the soft grey, parsnip and pink.
I am so tempted to get it in the wine or the brand new antique violet...lovely!
I highly recommend watching the video ![]()

I have this in pink. I"m truly not a double breasted jacket/sweater "fan", but I love this!

@winamac1 I'm looking forward to the shows...hopefully I'll be able to decide on the wine or the violet
I liked both! I'm not usually a "wine" color fan, but that one appeared to have some purple in it. It's really pretty--as is the violet!

A259709, Aran Craft double breasted sweater coat...
I'm seriously considering this gorgeous sweater coat in pink...been eyeing it since Win mentioned it a few weeks ago.
But, sizing! I'm 40B, 37" waist, 42" hip, carry the weight in the tummy area (TMI! TMI! LOL).
The reviews on this sweater (as well as reviews and past forum threads/posts) indicate it runs large. According to the infamous click here measurements, the large should be a bit snug, but...do they have a lot of stretch or just some stretch? Some reviewers went down 2 sizes! I'm usually between med and large in LDO...and med in Joan Rivers' blouses...I don't recall buying other Q brands in years.
I'm thinking of the lrg 'cuz I really just can't believe a med in this style sweater...which is a heck of a way to pick a size LOL.
I would so appreciate it if you would give me as much info on sizing for this sweater as you can! TIA ladies.
I will refrain from typing the snarky thoughts I'm having about the crazy sizing inconsistencies around here!!!!!!!!!

Hi MacDuff. I'm five 8 so I'm kind of tall. I didn't think it ran huge at all. It actually seemed to run just a little "big". I did size down to an xxs, but it is not in the least bit too big. I'd just go down one size if I was you. But, I can't remember if you are tall or petite....sometimes that makes a difference in the reviews from what I've noticed. I love this in pink. Good luck with your decision! It really is a nice sweater, and it's not itchy! Hope you have a great weekend!
IMO, some of the other Irish sweaters run far larger. I had one xxs that was still huge. I ordered a warm coral sweatercoat from this line yesterday. I think it runs a bit bigger than this double-breasted style. I'll post my review to you. I've been eyeing that one for awhile, and it was on sale too! ![]()

LOVELY! I debated and debated, and finally chose A231313, the longer sweater with the zipper, in Navy. One of the hosts mentioned that true Navy was not available in many styles.
Hope you continue to get lots of enjoyment from your new sweaters!

I'm still debating but I love A231313 too. That navy was gorgeous. I also like the Rose. I've never tried these before and the only wool sweater I ever had I could not wear because it itched like crazy. I've heard these do not so I'm very tempted to try my first one.

I'm just a bit taller than you...5.8 1/2 or so. If it runs just a little big, I think the lrg will be okay. I'm worried about the shoulders...the lrg is about an inch longer than the longest I can wear without looking like a linebacker lol.
The problem, as always, is that I cannot stand to chance handing over $10 to $20 of my hard earned $$ to QVC to try on a size or two when the possibility that neither will work is high...in my experience. I almost always opt to NOT PURCHASE...but, oh, this pink looks luscious! And it's all your fault...again LOL. Well, if it works, I'll have two heavy, cool looking winter coats to wear for a long, long time and will think of you when I do!
Now...coral sweatercoat?????
