Anyone notice the new fashion look?

It's winter stuff in the summer. Seen them catalogs and photos. Love these boots. Interesting combo. I've seen winter boots with open back dresses. Rag & Bone pushed this look with new winter & summer combinations.

Around here that look is not new. I was just up in Aspen and boots with shorts or minis have always been around. Here in Colorado boots are worn year-round with all kinds of fashions. Same goes for the leather jackets. It gets cool here at night so that stands to reason.

Well....I'm 70 so I'm pretty much over it, but wait until those cute little 'honeys" go through menopause and start sweating day and night.....Ha!

There's nothing new about that. Real people certainly are not dressing like that. The rich and famous skinny little fashionistas get fall/winter freebees around this time of the year and they get them so they can wear them NOW and we see them and think "that's what I want for my fall wardrobe". But, every so often, you might see some cluless girl who doesn't understand that and walks around looking like a fool...lol It's like the fall/winter stuff they are selling in the stores now. They aren't selling Cuddleduds for us to wear at the beach tomorrow....lol

No one in Austin is wearing suede jackets in the summer. It's still 84 and humid at 10pm. I think this is going to be a trend that works some places and not others.

not new. sometimes you wear what you have or whatever you have that's clean! i wore tall Frye boots with a corduroy mini-jeans skirt and a halter top in the summer and Kork-Eaze wedges with socks in January
