I agree with the others that it might be ok to sleep in.
And I thought she looked better than most other times I have seen her, when she stretches clothes over her body that don't fit her. I rarely watch her, so maybe she has had other good days.
I can't tell if the thing looked like a house dress, but it probably did. They called it a caftan, but it most definitely is not, so I guess it was an euphemism for house dress.
My point is that everyone has their opinion on what looks best.

When I first started paying attention to the shopping channels, approximately 10 years ago, Jane had a very distinctive personal style. You never saw her in jeans or joggers but almost always in a retro 50s style fit and flair dress and she looked adorable. I don't know what changed, perhaps midlife crisis, but her style seems to be in flux for a few years now and she hasn't really decided who she is. Of course back then Lisa Robinson and maybe Sandra Bennett were the ones getting the crux of the fashion shows so Jane was free to wear her own clothing presenting housewares and electronics.
Just an observation

I think you're right, she has "evolved." As an example, I know that she has commented that she used to never wear sneakers except for exercising, but now I think she has embraced "fashion sneakers" to some degree. I guess we all change over time (well, many of us?) -- I know I have! Of course, people used to make fun of her "June Cleaver" dresses, too, but I agree with you that they really suited her.

I didn't see the presentation, but this looks like something to wear to sleep or to wear around the house.

Sure we adjust for age and mostly for the changes in our bodies but does our taste change? We may try different things and we may decide we like some colors we weren't that fond of but I really don't think our likes and dislikes change that much.

Hmmm ... good question. My taste has changed for sure, but maybe it's an individual thing.

@Andreatoo I remember those days. I always loved a lot of the 50's style dresses she used to wear and they looked great on her. I guess with the casual styles becoming more and more popular, and/or QVC wanting hosts to wear their fashions, maybe she decided it or was decided for her not to wear those clothes anymore.
I pulled up the item # of the caftan and saw her wearing it in the video, I thought the fit was appropriate. Caftans as far as I know are not meant to be form-fitting or skin tight. She looked fine. I tend to stay away from dresses with those prints because on me it would look like a muu-muu, but I would definitely wear this around the house when I had to be "dressed" but not really, or wearing it on the day I work from home.

I actually wasn't watching all that carefully (I multitask), so I just took a look and a screenshot for the curious. The item is sold out except for small and extra small. Waitlist for other sizes available. 60% cotton/40% rayon. machine wash, tumble dry.
