No offense to anyone, but come on, how would we know...? I suspect that QVC is still reviewing options and will modify their schedule to reflect whatever decisions they think make the most sense.

In as much as Joan, in the absence of a TSV, would not likely have been expected to do a 2AM show in the first place, it seems likely a host alone might handle that first show if they decide to go forward with it. It also seems possible that any shows combining the fabulous team of Rivers and Basso might well revert to just Basso and the host, but, of course, that is all PURE speculation.

I have several of her statement type necklaces-always receive compliments. And just bought the sunflower bee a couple of days ago. It will always have a special meaning. Can't wait to receive it. The new jacket is not up for sale yet, but I am monitoring.

I think academically that Joan would be amazed how she affected so many people "out there". I'm sure she realized who didn't appreciate her humor, etc., or those that just didn't like her, but I doubt she realized how many of us just plain appreciated her drive and fortitude. How many of us are now interspective, sad, mourning or just plain cranky at what has happened. It's shown us that even someone with her energy and obvious health at 81 can never know when it'll happen to us. What happened to Joan is incredibly sobering.

I hope QVC and Joan's company are able to continue their sales. I, for one, am interested.

To those who post questions, please continue, there is nothing wrong in that. Those that want the entire subject to go away, please just skip over those threads. The boards will get back to normal soon enough.

i would understand if there were a postponement for the end of shiva if the family is observing. but i hope it would be just a delay since Joan was part of the design of the new products. i for one would like to see what she wanted to bring to us. and it might help her staff get back to some semblance of real life.

I also think Joan Rivers would have been surprised at how many people liked her and will miss her. Because she was on the Q for so many years, we all felt we knew her. Fashion Police was my guilty pleasure each week. I either watched in person or I dvr'd it. I suspect that show will not go forward in its present form if at all.
