I am confused on the sizing. I am a solid size 12. But I usually go up a size for swimsuits. I wonder if I should go up a size for this suit. The garment measurements aren't very clear/good for this item. I want to know the short measurements (waist and hips). I might have to pass even though I really like it. There is NO BUZZ about this TSV on the boards. Would love to know anything about it- even if it's that you are passing.
Thanks

I do not like the tiered top or the short like bottom

You are not alone. There is not talk about this on the boards at all. I like it, but they have all of these confusing measurements. I just want to know the basics- chest/waist/hips. Guess I'm going to pass too.

I've been wondering why there weren't any threads re: the TSV swimsuit. . . . . . Anyway, this particular one doesn't seem to interest me. I'm thinking it's because I like thicker straps (retro look). But it is a cute tankini swimsuit. Enjoy!

According to Jane Brown choose your normal QVC size. No need to go up or down. The manufacturer of the suit used the QVC sizing measurments.

I love the printed top (not the floral but the print) and if this had a regular bathing suit bottom I would order it. The price is very good for a swimsuit.
But I don't like bottoms that are shorts and I don't like skirted bottoms either which is the upsell so this is a pass for me.

I like the shorts type bottoms, but only if they are shorts like and don't have big leg openings. Not a fan of all the tiered tops. Despite the hosts saying they are slimming and hide the gut, when the models turn sideways, the tiers stick out, so I don't think that's flattering at all.
The tops do have some pretty colors. I like the mesh material and have a few swimsuits made of that. This one I also don't like that the top is fully lined with the regular swimsuit material underneath. I would only want that at the very top/bra part.
I did happent to see the TSV presentation at midnight with Amy. Never saw her turn the top around to let the viewer see or say if the straps were adjustable. These hosts need to understand that not everyone is short like they are and might need details like that. I did hear Jayne say it this morning though.

I prefer the skirted bottomed tankinis. On me, loose shorts only look good while I'm standing still, otherwise they always have to be adjusted when walking. The skirt is always the better look on me. The TSV did make me go online to look for alternatives, and I found a great Ocean Dream (more expensive, however) tankini & skirt that I think fits the bill for me.

That's odd because on Fashionably Early, and at Midnight with Amy, the vendor said -- not in these exact words: as with most swimsuits the rule is to go up one size.
No, I'm not buying the TSV. It's the long tiered top which is to me ruins the look for me. I think skirted bottoms can look flirty and cute. There is a mindset that women under a size 6 don't want flippy skirted bottoms and more coverage on top, but rather all of us want to wear a booty cheek exposing bikini with a skimpy top. I wouldn't want the skirt and ruffled tiers on top, but if Ocean Dreams offered a skirted suit with a bra style top, or one which looks like a cropped tank I would be interested. JMO, but I think anyone wearing the suit would have a sleeker looking line with less ruffly on top. That should be a key factor for those who wear this style with the illusion that it makes one appear slimmer.

I started a thread around noontime today -
sorry, I kept searching today's tsv and couldn't find a thread. Anyways, watched the video and Rachael said to order your usual QVC size. That's a lot different from normal, so I questioned it. Guess I'm gonna go with my usual pant size.
