i have not been disappointed.   i know i can return if needed.   i love the reduced price.  i love being able to get something that sold out on the reg item.

I think some of the "as is" items have been used on the air or worn by the models.  The returns go to "waitlist" orders.

Of all the "as is" items I have bought, I only had one problem.  It was a jacket that someone tried to resew some of the seams.  Returned it with no problem.  

I think this is a great way to get something you missed out on the first time around.

I've purchased many as-is items through the years and have about an 80% success rate.

I buy as-is all the time.  The only items I've ever had an issue with were handbags and a watch that was very obviously heavily worn. 

I do watch the price though.  I am noticing that some of the as-is prices aren't discounted enough for me to take the chance.  It seems like the as-is prices used to be more of a significant markdown than they are now.

I'm constantly stalking 'as is' items, especially ones that I have previously purchased at full price. I've never had to return my as-is purchases. I think it's wonderful that the Q offers this option to buy not-new products.
