Re: Anyone else disappointed with fall fashion days?

I saw a few cute Kim gravel tops that I would have purchased if the price was right. I can't justify paying over $70 with tax and shipping for a knit top. I put them in my wishlist in case the prices goes down

@Carmie

The seasons in the Northeast seem different than "back-in-the-day."  Where we are, it does seem to go very quickly from cold winter temps to hot summer temps.  Then, summer seems to last longer and the weather goes from hot straight to cold.  We don't have much pleasant Spring or Fall weather anymore.   It does make it a little tricky figuring out how to wear clothes for the season sometimes.

Re: Anyone else disappointed with fall fashion days?

I purchased a cute sweatshirt dress from Shophq. I have nothing like it and thought I would give it a try. I just received it and I really like it and it fit great. I am short and it is just below my knees so it will look really cute with tall boots when the weather is cooler, also will look cute with a casual slip on shoe in cooler but not cold weather.  I can't wait to wear it.  So far nothing has caught my attention on the Q, however the Belle jacket was really nice, I don't need another jacket right now.

Re: Anyone else disappointed with fall fashion days?

Q's Fall Fashion Days were a big zero for me. Not only wasn't tempted to order now, but didn't see anything new to add on my wishlist.

I did find QVC-type things on ebay (Spenco and Anybody), and the Tretorn sneaks at DSV with 30% off sale price.

Spenco Women's Yumi Snake Brown Thong Flip Flop Medium - Picture 1 of 1

Anybody Women's Top Sz M Drapey Knit Jersey Printed Swing Tank Ivory A498714 - Picture 1 of 5

Nylite Bold Plus Platform Sneaker

Fall in the Valley of the Sun isn't like what many people think of as fall, it just gradually becomes less hot on the way to being somewhat cooler.

I have the opposite problem. I need swimsuits. Specifically tankini tops and bottoms. Swimwear is practically sold out everywhere. I have found a couple of things on Amazon that might work. Beach is all year round here.

Re: Anyone else disappointed with fall fashion days?

I was only looking for a couple of light weight sweaters, which is all I usually need in colder months in TX, but didn't see anything that had me tap the buy button.

So, I'm still looking for me. But, I did buy an IHKWIP crossbody as a gift for a friend's upcoming BD.

Now someone please, make me stop getting distracted from fashion needs, shopping for Germack, Squirrel Brand and stuffed pretzels, instead, Lol. Remind me, that I must gift them.

Re: Anyone else disappointed with fall fashion days?

Well, I love Fall clothing, but there was nothing original or new. I think Barefoot dreams is way, way overpriced; and seriously, a tee shirt for $70.00 from Logo?????

Seems the Q is down to about six vendors....I really miss the old days with lots of style and variety! What is happening there?

I have discovered HSN, and I really enjoy watching it. They seem to have many Boutique items, unlike the Q.  The hosts never come out in pajamas or sweatshirts; they are all professionally dressed and professional in their presentations.

I order all my summer dresses from Land's End now. The styles are lovely and the fabrics are good quality. And if you are needing a swimsuit, even in the Winter, Land's End has wonderful choices!

I still order Quacker tee shirts, because they are so well made and the fabrics are excellent quality. I like the embroidery at the top of a tee. I gladly pay $45-50 for a Quacker tee. I keep them for years and years. They do not pill or shrink or fade, ever. Lots of compliments, too! I hope they keep Quacker on the vendor list.

Yes---Im guess the days of say seeing model Kate stroll across the set in leather head to toe on a Dennis Basso show are history.

Re: Anyone else disappointed with fall fashion days?

Thumbs down. It seemed disorganized; none of the hosts were interested and were half-a**ing the presentations (just repeating colors over and over). The product selection was boring and it felt like it was based on what inventory didn't move from '21.

Where were (as the hosts say) all the "new, fresh, modern, cool-girl, elevated, boutique, 4-digit, fabulous, incredible, amazing" items????
