Re: Any other fans of HSN's Helen Keaney who think she's getting a raw deal?

Before anyone boycotts HSN because they THINK Helen is being mistreated. . .

Maybe she has a stand-up comedy gig where she can do that and then work an overnight shift at HSN. This schedule might work better for her and for all we know, she requested it.

Seems like a lot of speculation.

Was kind of wondering where she went. Sorry but not a fan of hers. It seemed like every time I saw her she was presenting clothing and saying she was a size small....sorry but if she's a small than so am I (I'm not). Why do hosts lie so blatantly about something like this?

She may like the hours or hosts rotate.

As a nurse, I chose nights for various reasons.

It's a 24 hour operation, so there could be many reasons.

ITA. She has a lot of irons in the fire career-wise. She's done voice-over work, acted in some TV shows, still doing stand-up comedy.

I don't think she asked for the graveyard shift. It is a demotion and pays less. She could do comedy after working the afternoon shift and then be home with her family overnight. I get tired of the new hosts that are just clones of older hosts and have no personality of their own. Plus, Helen is funny. If she needs to brush up on her selling skills, they should have Bill Green take her under his wing. He's the best host technically, as I've noticed when I buy on-line and watch the video presentation.

You are presuming to know her and her requests personally, how would you know what she prefers to work? How would you also know that in shopping channel world, working the graveyard shift is a demotion and/or pays less? That's ridiculous. We can't being to know why she's on overnight now or what her salary is.

She seems cute on the hair. I've never found her to be phony like some of them.

I said hair, I meant to say cute on the air.

blue, I don't either. It was interesting though. I fall asleep every night watching TV in bed. I kept waking up and I know it was on tape. They didn't take any calls and it went really fast. This was QVC I'm talking about.

Helen is OK. A little cheeky...She is usually on right after primetime in this part of the USA. Not a bad timeslot for a hostess if you ask me. I think she has a little something for Guy Y. Ms. Runyon and Marlo are terrible hosts. Horrible. Does anyone watch their sales pitches??
