In my opinion this isn't fashion and it doesn't do a thing for Katie Holmes,  I know fashion is a matter of taste but mistakes are made in design also.

As others have said, Katie Holmes is a pretty woman, but I rarely think what she wears is nice.  She looks best in jeans and a sweater and, even then, doesn't always get it right.

It's 2021 and she's a very beautiful wealthy single woman and Mom. She doesn't need to "look for a boyfriend" by wearing an outfit like that. I'm quite sure if she wants one she has plenty of interested parties. Maybe she doesn't want one! Such a non 1950's attitude.

I think Katie Holmes @Greeneyedlady21 , is in some ways thumbing her nose at the fashion community and enjoying every minute of it. The subtle clues are often there such as wearing a pair of sneakers to a formal event. She is body conscious, though, and her forte is her toned, slim physique. She doesn't need or want her clothing upstaging her. Personally, I "get her." I like her attitude. She's not just a hanger for some designer to sell their wares.😍
