Re: Ann Taylor chain print pleated dress

I had  to look at the dress a bit because I wasn't sure if I liked it.  I do love the color, the style simple and conservative but I am not sure about the print or the pleats.

not for me...... too conservative and just too much.

i remember having a silk chain link blouse from joan rivers many years ago. it was one of her first collections (i think it was silk?). havent been into chain link prints since then.

If you are tall, stick thin and famous,  you could pull this dress off beautifully.

I've never been a fan of that print.   The dress is a classic style that has been around for years.

Pretty but a 100% polyester dress I would find uncomfortable to wear....

No, don't really like it. Looks too prim, too proper too old style. But, I do admit it looks classic, so I am surprised I don't care for it because I mostly like classic styles.

Oh well.

@Iwantcoffee   I like that some red or red prints are seen in  fall/winter clothing , but I haven't worn a dress in many decades and feel they cut my height. The longer line of pants with a top or jacket in a similar shade makes me look a bit taller.

I don't mind a chain print but this is way too much for me and I've never liked pleats.
