I don't get all of the ankle pants on the Q! Please bring us some regular length pants, especially jeans! We have crops and capris, but ankle pants just look silly IMO, like a kid whose pants are too short! Fashion trends come and go, but I prefer to spend my money on classic styles that will last over time, especially when prices are so high!

Some of us are short, I for one, buy ankle pants as they are full length on me.

@lizzief.  There are hundred of full length jeans on qvc.com.   In fact, the vast majority are full length.  Ankle length are a little more casual and breezy, thus are popular for Spring and Summer.

100% agree. And I'm only 5'1.5" I wear a regular pant more than even petite lengths, which sometimes run too short on me, by a lot. I'm petite, but longer legged than torso. And while I like a cute capri...that No man's land of a chopped off pant doesn't look good on anyone. And yet, it's become a popular fashion. I hate the look, just unflattering to me.

As for it substituting for a "regular length" pant for some short people, if that works for you good. But in my opinion...a true petite looks "right" on a petite person that needs a short length...but the other is not proportioned, overall, correctly for a petite length. Others may come for me and strongly disagree...ok.

Just my opinion.

I do like an actual "ankle pant" that is full length but comes to or just below the ankle bone, tapered to show off a cute shoe, especially this time of year. But I'm assuming @lizzief you mean the cropped off looking pants. Especially in a flare (yuuuck) or a wide leg...dumpy. Ok, nuf said by me. Like I said...if some of these do work for shorter women to get a better length for them, then glad for you.

@lizzief

I think ankle pants look great, chic and retro.  It's also the season for shorter length pants especially jeans, we can't wear long pants in the summer here in Denver.  Though you sometimes see guys in shorts in the snow so go figure ha.

Ankle pants are classic, Talbots has a lot of choices for them.

Agree about the prices being high, sounds like the Q may not be your first choice for pants.  I've heard about Appleseed, Belks, Lands End having a lot of varieties of pant lengths.

I've actually never worn an ankle pant in my life!

Totally agree. I hate them.

I just don't find anyone's ankles to be all that attractive. I prefer full length or capris, or even pedal pushers.

I was thinking the same thing about ankle pants and also wondered why they have so many versions of crop pants.  I would prefer that they bring more regular lengths.
