I've noticed that, too.  It seemed to have died down over the past couple of years but this summer it's back in a big way.

I don't buy many animal prints.  Actually almost none.  I just don't like them on me.  I did, however, purchase a peacock top and an ostrich top from Talbots.  A bit cutesy for me, but really cute!

I have a navy with black cheetah print top & a tan with black leopard print top. I thought the navy was really pretty. It's the only navy animal print top I have seen.

I like reptile prints.   Don't care about emulating a leopard or a zebra.

My favorite animal prints are leopard and zebra.  I never thought a snake was pretty and I won't be buying that print.  If you like it, please enjoy.

Yes! I ordered a cute snake print top from Macy's..it was just what I wanted! I have several leopard prints..animal prints are my fav and they will never go out of style! Go take a peak..mine was on sale too!
