Re: Andy MacDowell's dress at her daughter's wedding

Margaret Qualley wears a grey dress on the red carpet with long dark hair next to mother Andie MacDowell in a dark suit

They do look alike.

Isn't her name Andi?

@San Antonio Gal  This would not have been my first choice, but different strokes for different folks!

👚👖  I wonder why Andi didn't opt for a little something from the Canyon Retreat line?

Re: Andy MacDowell's dress at her daughter's wedding

I think Andie looked lovely.  The dress is beautiful, and sandals are comfortable and appropriate for the seaside wedding location.

Her daughter was just as minimal and dressed as casually, as well as the groom's suit and white socks.

The 1st photo is her satin halter wedding dress, and flat Mary Jane's.  The 2nd photo is her reception dress she changed into.

I think she looks beautiful, relaxed, and happy. Not my taste, but I enjoy seeing other people's choices.

I don't think it is a great shot of her and the dress.

I agree that the dress was appropriate for a beach wedding.

Here in New Jersey we say "down the shore".

The wedding was on Long Beach Island.  On any Saturday in the summer, LBI is very crowded.  It is an island with only one route on/off the island.  Traffic can be difficult.

The big news was that Taylor Swift was there.  There are many pictures of her at the wedding online.  You cannot imagine the havoc her presence created on the island.

The reception was at Parker's Garage, a very nice place, but still down the shore.

The wedding was not at a fancy venue/country club as many NJ weddings are.

Re: Andy MacDowell's dress at her daughter's wedding

I just read that the daughter’s dress has been declared probably the ugliest wedding dress so far.

That hair and dress remind me of times past.
