An Aran Craft sweater I adore!

I just ordered my 3rd of A218915...have the camel, natural and just ordered the last sunshine yellow. Oh, I wish the Q would keep these in stock! I was hoping to get the azalea pink...phooey! I LOVE this sweater!!! I certainly will be watching the Q on St Patty's day...hoping they will restock them...no doubt at a higher price since it is currently at a GREAT clearance price...

There are only a very few left...so you'd be lucky if they were ones in your size Wink

Re: An Aran Craft sweater I adore!

I have several Aran Craft sweaters, and more than likely I also have this one (or one that's very similar). It has been so very cold this January, that I've brought out my Aran sweaters to wear. They hold up so beautifully, and I have several that I bought from QVC many years ago, that look just like new. They are definitely worth the money. My favorite is a plum 3-button cardigan with 3/4 sleeves. I can wear that one when it's not brutally cold.

I looked at that item number and that is a very cute sweater plus it has excellent reviews. I'm wearing one of my Aran Craft sweaters today. It is so cold and windy out!

The plum sweater you are talking about is cute (A222927)!

For me, as I got older, I just prefer the longer length of the hooded one...plus, I love the pockets too.

Both sweaters are on clearance with easy pay...a great time to grab a nice sweater now and for Spring Smile

Re: An Aran Craft sweater I adore!

A222927 is not the same sweater I own. I think mine was a TSV several years ago and is sold out now. Mine is a dark plum color, and it's from Kilronan Knitwear. I counted my Irish sweaters, and I have 10 of them. A couple sweaters have hoods, one has a hood and a zipper. I certainly don't need any more sweaters -- they just never wear out! The first Irish sweater (which I wore yesterday) I bought from QVC many years ago (remember when Jane used to travel to Ireland for the shows?). I wore that sweater yesterday. It's a natural wool cable cardigan with leather buttons. I also have a couple Deirdre McGuire sweaters that I purchased when they went to clearance (even very expensive then).

I love these Irish sweaters. I own a red sweater coat and four other sweaters....one of which is unique...a pull over with delicate shamrocks at the neck all from QVC.

I can't buy anymore....I sort of promised myself so I try not to look.

Re: An Aran Craft sweater I adore!

Susan,

What is your opinion of the sizing of the sweater?

Only the medium is available now. The medium sweater chest measurement is 42". Usually I buy a sweater with a 38" to 40" chest measurement max., which is usually a small in QVC sizing.

I'm thinking of ordering the medium and also ordering the small -- on waitlist; just in case the medium is too big for me.

Oh...sorry. It was the only plum sweater I could find...so just assumed. Kilronan has some nice sweaters too Smile

Is the natural color beautiful?

Looks pretty in the online description.

Yes!!! The best part about the natural is that it goes with everything! I love mine!!!

Watch the whole video...the model is wearing the natural color...you'll need to scroll down on the page some. I don't know why the Q moved the videos from the pics/tab area...
